There are also hot baths, where the water springs from the mouths of dolphins, and which are heated by means of subterranean fires, so that, even in the coldest weather, they are perfectly warm. These baths are fitted up with magnificent furniture, and the walls covered with the richest tapestry; and in the centre of each of them is a large fountain, which is constantly filled with fresh water. There are likewise smaller baths, which are heated by the sun alone, and which are used for bathing in the summer months.
